Empathy & Stupidity<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Without love, there\u2019s no intelligence.<\/p>\n

Without empathy there\u2019s no place
\nfor love to begin or intelligence to grow.<\/p>\n

If you feel empathy
\nonly for some, you\u2019re stupid;
\nyou haven\u2019t nurtured empathy
\nenough to encompass all.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re in the majority.
\nStupidity is easy,
\nseemingly comfortable,
\nkeeps the powerful in power
\nand the status quo stable
\nby reassuring the stupid they\u2019re actually smart
\nbelieving unfettered empathy destroys.<\/p>\n

Intelligence and knowledge though
\nnot the same, require symbiosis.
\nMeasuring intelligence needs
\nan evaluation of knowledge.
\nNo matter how objective the facts,
\nknowledge is only quantified
\nsubjectively through what areas
\nof study and experience
\nyour intelligence is applied.<\/p>\n

Even the knowledgeable can be stupid just
\nlike the most informed can despise empathy.<\/p>\n

Your degree of stupidity is based on your ability
\nto see beyond your own opinion
\nand your willingness to examine
\nhow your opinion was derived.<\/p>\n

Not only must we know
\nwhat is and is not opinion,
\nwe must know why
\nas well as what
\nwe know.<\/p>\n

True empathy has no limits.<\/p>\n

Your respect for others is
\nthe same respect
\nyou have for yourself;
\nif that\u2019s dependent on how much
\nyou think they respect you,
\nyou\u2019re diminished more
\nthan by the suffering
\ntheir lack of respect
\nforces you to endure.<\/p>\n

People unable to see
\nbeyond their own perspective are
\nthe ones adamantly certain
\nwhat your perspective should be.<\/p>\n

Knowing there is more
\nto them than stupidity
\nnever suffices, but at least
\nby identifying their stupidity
\nyou can then know
\nthe limits of their empathy and
\nshape your arguments
\nand actions accordingly.<\/p>\n
